Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. One of the arguments for the Parkway conversion is that the delivery wagon “can now be registered as a suburban vehicle, which grants it access to boulevards and other zoned sections where commercial vehicles are not allowed.”

I am selling this 1950 Jeep Willys Wagon for an old friend.
This Jeep has been sitting in storage for more than 20 Years. Body is in great shape. Minimal rust on drivers side floor pan. Body is complete and interior is 90% complete. Some glass and interior trim has been removed but it is all inside the vehicle.
Still has the original in line 6cyl motor and 2wd drivetrain. This is a great project for someone looking for a 4×4 build or full restoration.
What I know about the vehicle is all in this ad. I have the original title in hand so if you’re interested come down and take a look at it. We are here Mon-Sat 9am-5pm.

“First year of the delivery. Body is original, needs quarter panels which I have.
It has a Buick 455/Turbo 400. Mustang ll front end which is all new. This Willys sat in a garage for 15 yrs, engine turns freely.
Use it as a street rod or buy a rusty old Willys and put this body on it
It has a title and the VIN tag is there. $3200”

“These 47 Sedan Deliverys are hard to find, especially in this condition. This vehicle is an older hot rod that has a 1964 Chevrolet 327 c.i. 4bbl. with a Turbo 350 transmission and B&M shifter. This power feeds a 57 Chevrolet 3:56 positraction rear end. This panel has power steering and power disk brakes on front from a 72-76 Camero. Has Steward Warner gauges and tach, updated upholstery and good tires. Tires are 14” front and 15″rear with beauty rims and baby moon caps. It still has the planar front suspension wih the transverse leaf spring and needs new shocks, which are redily available. This is an older hot rod that has many updates incorporated into the running of this vehicle. The paint shows a little wear and it needs a new passengers side windshield and door window as seen in the pictures. The side windows have been updated to one piece with the removal of the stationary vent windows. This vehicle is licensed until May of 2013 and is comletely road worthy. “Here is your chance to buy a very rare vehicle. Up for sale is a 1948 Willys Sedan Delivery 4 wheel drive. As you can see by the pictures this Willys is in good shape. Has rebuilt 226 I-6 flathead with 5,000 miles on it. I have owned this vehicle since 1985.”

I just thought this was interesting in that it looks parked in the middle of nowhere. Of course, to be fair, Elko is in the middle of nowhere. That means that Ryndon is even more in the middle of nowhere.
