About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This is a project I have had for over 20 years. Until recently it has been kept in a garage. It is virtually rust free. Now, with other projects taking precedence, I’m letting this one go. All the glass and body parts are there. Don’t wait, this is a wonderful project for the right person. You could restore it or turn it into a Rat Rod, The choice will be yours.”

Craig spotted this. No pics provided, but seller makes it sound pretty good.
“1951 Willys Station Wagon, this one is the window version, with a split rear hatch, the rear doors are in great condition and are complete with lights and tag mount. Interior is in great shape, complete instrument panel, floors in great shape and drivers seat. It has a 4 cylinder engine that has about a 1000 miles on it since rebuilt, but has not been driven in about 10 years. It has a straight drive transmission and a split front seat. This car is all original and complete. It does have some minor rust in it but nothing that can’t be repaired. Most of the glass is good. All the glass is flat and can be repaired with new glass. These cars restored are bringing upwards to $40,000.00…, A lot of people are street rodding these vehicles now. I’m asking $2500.00 , CASH TALKS, and I have a clear NC title. ”
“I have a 53 Willys wagon that has been sitting in storage for a few years. I need to sell this project as I’m not going to finish it. I would say its 50 percent finished. Its stripped down and in pieces at the moment. Here is what I have done so far.
-cleaned, stripped and painted frame and undercarriage with PO-15
-rewelded in rusted out floor boards.
-stripped and primered
-fixed dents and body work
-new wiring harness
-valves where redone right before i bought it
I know I have put several thousand into this and bought a couple thousand in parts for it but honestly I can’t remember what all I have done since its in storage and in another town. If you are interest please let me know and I will take an inventory and get back with a further detailed list. I believe it will need a new front axle. Let me be clear I am not a professional and this was a for fun project for me but I do take pride in my work so I would say its a good start to a restoration project.
