About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Steve spotted this set. On ebay (example here), this stuff seems to be priced higher than the asking price of this set. I don’t know much about these prices, but maybe it’s a good price?
A variety of extras are included on this M-38. The windshield seems like it leans back a little farther than it should. I’ve never heard the term “Restored to Combat Class”.
“Has original parts, 24 volt system. Many original add-on’s that make this a unique find. Please see photos and review the video for running Jeep featuring a narrative from the owner and a full scope of all that is included with this sale.
Several of your inquiries have been to include further photos of what items are extra in my Dads large bin that comes with the Jeep. I’ve put many more photos in the ad now, several items most likely will have no interest to you, nevertheless they come with the Jeep.
I’ve personally never looked at the underside of the Jeep until I took these photos, it is not that easy to snap these upside down, but I did my best. I should tell you that it will have a few areas I know that need to be sanded, I believe on the right front passenger side on the undercarriage. The Jeep has been sitting several years without care, covered, but still without my dads care due to his illnesses, and I know he has not been able to maintain or do further work that he had planned on completing with the Jeep. But, all things considered, it’s not a shiny showpiece, however, it is one heck of a Jeep!
We’d Love to hear from you, make your best offer!”
“I’m selling my 1948 Willys cj2A with a bantam trailer. Jeep was gone through years ago, but the floor is showing a little rot. Runs and drives great. I have clear titles for both the Jeep and trailer. I will separate the two.
$10,000 for both
$8500 for just Jeep
$1500 for bantam trailer”
“It was my grandads, was a postmaster in oklahoma…no paperwork, right hand drive…will run with little effort, has a new radiator, starter, and rear wheel bearings and seals…4 brand new goodyear all season tires as of 2017.”
“1949 willys jeep 4×4 all original ran when parked 12 years ago changed out the distributor and couldn’t get it to fire after that no title bill of sale only”
