UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.  This was located in Jaffrey, NH, but is now in Smithsburg, MD.  However, the pictures are the same.

(08/20/2011) This looks in good condition.

“1959 Willys Jeep Forward Control FC 170.  Very rare. 16000 original miles. Used originally as a fire truck. Converted to a dump truck with dual exhaust by high school auto body program.   Dual pistons under dump.  Can lift a load.  Truck has no rust, has  sandblasted and painted frame.  4 speed transmission and completely rebuilt engine.  Truck can haul like wild.  Needs bumper and wipers attached.  Only selling because I have problems with knees and hips and have a lot of trouble getting in and out of it.  Paid more than asking price. Located in Jaffrey, NH and can be seen upon request”

(04/11/2011) This looks in good shape, though it does need some work.

“1960 Jeep FC170 Forward Control from California and only in New England a couple of years, kept indoors, 6 cylinder, 3 speed transmission, 4×4, solid cab and frame, 12 volt, electric over hydraulic dumping stake bed, newer windshield, back window broken but in tact. This is a running, driving project and needs electrical work (lights, horn, gauge) and minor mechanical work (parking brake, tune up). The term ‘rare’ accompanies a variety of FC-150/170s.

“This extremely rare 1963 Jeep Willys FC-170 4X4 is both a stake bed pick up and a hydraulic dump bed. The trucks prior owner was into these vehicles in a big way and kept his eyes open for the right FC to purchase for over 15 years. He acquired this truck from the original owner and had it for another 15 years until illness forced the sale. The prior owner advertised this as “Very Complete & Original all the way down to the Windshield Washer Bag that hangs on the dashboard.”
