Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’ve always used later model tilt columns with the steering wheel shown to the right. It requires an adapter that slides on to the column (don’t have a pic of that).
Anyone else know of other options?
I got a GRANT adaptor on my 64 willys CJ-5 & most of there cheaper wheels will fit it… Its number is 4401 & got it off E-bay for a couple bucks… Iv got a 12 in wheel on it now.. Not sure if it would fit a 50s model or not,,
