Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The seller is listing this as a CJ-2A, but the body and fenders are military.
“Parting out this 1940s flat fender Willys CJ2. It has been in a fire so many of the parts are not useable, but many are just fine. Has original flathead engine. Please email for parts availability or make offer on whole jeep.”
This post and the following post interests me greatly, they both have character and make me smile, almost a laugh….just for that I would buy them if it wasn’t on the other side of the country….or perhaps I will just buy the LEGO Durabuild Jeep.
