Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. And for those who are not that familiar with these hubs, they took the place of the drive flanges on the front axles. They had a large cage bearing in them and made your jeep 2wd while they were on.
These are the early “dimple” version, the later ones had a waffle pattern.
