Gary shot this photo of his jeep and boat. He says it really helps to have the jeep for putting the boat into tight, uneven locations on small lakes, like the one below at Binnewater Lake in Rosendale, NY. Looks like a beautiful day for sailing.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

What a fantastic shot!!! That´s the perfect enviroment for a Willys jeep!
I agree, what a great photo.
Hi resolution as well, looks great. Imagine this photo being a puzzle.
Totally agree…beautiful picture of a true icon…the old Willys..
And just look at that calm smooth water !
Awesome…Thanks for sharing with us…
nice wood boat too
Funny- More than one passanger has commented that driving in the Willys is puttering in a motor boat. In fact, those drain holes would be called “scuppers” if the thing was a boat.
Great picture. hopefully he got some wind before the morning was over. i dont see a motor on that boat.
Like a Willys Jeep, the sail boat- a dory, is versatile and is designed for work. They used to stack these things on big schooners. They were used to haul nets and were designed to carrying massive loads of fish. This boat rows better than it sails. No motor necessary. The Jeep compliments the boat so well. Now if I could only find wheels that “float my boat”- don’t care for the “modern” steel wheels the Jeep wears.
