Buying Tips
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s actually “Inyokern”, Sunshine Capital of America, just west of Ridgecrest CA, at the gate to the China Lake Naval Air Station (Mojave Desert country). 30 miles from Death Valley, Inyokern CA is the hottest place I’ve ever been… it hit 126 in the shade while we were supporting military exercises there. The postcard seller appears to live in Ventura CA.
Typo on my part. I meant Inyokern. Thanks Joe.
