About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1961- turquoise Willy’s wagon project. with 2- parts vehicles and a Wagon Body and more parts, lots and lots of parts to go with it. I got these to fix-up, but now getting divorced and have to sell the house – so the Willy’s have to go. there is Three (3)-freed-up L-226 Hurricane straight 6 cyl. engines, (still in frames) (the one in the turquoise Wagon is stuck- which is why I got more) the yellow and black body, is only a body no frame underneath, but it has some parts stored inside it including 4 white wagon wheel rims to fit Willy’s and both sides left and right rear quarter panels. there are Plenty of engines, transmissions, transfers, axles, drive shafts, frames (one frame in garage is junk-but good Drive train) extra parts outside includes: winch, plow frames, plow pumps, bumpers. really too much to list, but I’m trying–NO TRADES–cash only -for full price, I will help load, and if under 50-miles will help haul to your destination.”
Looks pretty good, but those grille parking lights … nooooooo. VIN is 171065 (a few thousand short of being a Lefty).

The DJ had been damaged, so the seller though why not do something fun.
“Would consider trades for a softail.
I am begrudgingly selling my rat rod jeep project that I’ve built over the course of a few years.
Originally a CA car (except for the last 2 years it’s been here in Key West), I bought it in the San Francisco Bay Area after someone had crashed into the rear while it was parked on the road. It barely ran, had the original straight 6 in, and was a mess.
For those of you who don’t know, the DJ-5 series is an automatic, 2wd jeep from the factory. Often used as rural mail trucks, the DJ-5 often comes right and drive. This is a left hand drive, but I suspect that someone changed it to LHD before I got it. Continue reading →
This is a DJ-3A body on a (most likely) CJ-2A chassis. Given the PTO winch, there sure looks like some value here.
“1947 Willy’s jeep CJ2A. Will crank up, but needs work to be drivable. Has a Ramsey pto drive winch. I found another project, so I need to sell this one.”
