Up for sale is a hard to find Very Early Civilian (VEC) CJ-2a with Column Shift.
Serial Number/ VIN 33317.
Jeep drives very well up to about 45 MPH. Speedo, temp, tach, and oil pressure work. Fuel and amp meter are meh. Engine pulls great once warmed up. Transmission shifts fairly well. Clutch works great and doubles as a calf exercise.
The rear has been swapped out for a Dana 44 and it actually has limited slip (both wheels turn). Front hubs are Warn locking and have the originals in a box. Body is in really good condition.
Minimal rust, although there is a little rot as shown in the pictures. Original color is Pasture Green and you can see it in the pics. Was told the CJ was painted in the mid 90s.
I added the roll bar and 3 point seat belts. I made the canvas cover in my living room. Original windshield and frame are long gone and replaced with a CJ-3 / M38.
Does have a spare tire and mount. Comes with new exhaust system still in box.
This CJ is mostly original. What has been changed out or replaced has been done so in a tasteful manner. Brakes have been redone.
Complete wiring harness redo.
Stops fine for a 80 year old jeep. This Jeep is ready to drive as is. When I bought it, I did a few things to ensure it was safe and reliable to drive. Other than that, it’s perfect for coffee getting and showing off. This is not a garage queen. Drive it and SMILE! Clean title.

1950 Custom Jeep Project $1,800 Lakeland, FL
If you look at the article this took some time and work to build this one back in the day.
Looks like its mostly there and in the back of the rig and comes with an extra roller from what I can tell.
This could be a real neat unique project and sounds like you need to see the build.

This Custom Jeep was built in Riverview in the 60’s. It has a body(looks like a Land Rover)that is very thick metal and was made for the woods. The engine is a stock Jeep F-head 134 CI that has been partially disassembled. Included in this sale is the 50’s Jeep chassis pictured with another compete drive train. Neither Jeep has a title. Great little jeep. Runs and drives well. All lights work. New tires and many new other parts including fuel pump spark plugs and spark plugs wires steering wheel and front bumper. The battery and shifter boots are also new. Seat frames recently painted. I have driven this jeep for 2 hours nonstop on a road trip recently. It’s pretty solid some rust in rear floor but for an old jeep it is in decent shape. I also have a new replacement tub that I would sell for a additional 3000.

F-161 nice uptick and using a Willys power plant, that’s cool. Complete project, I will say it’s a Salad but really this could be a neat rig.

For sale is a 1946 Willys CJ2A. It has had a 1950s Willys Hurricane 6 cylinder installed in place of the original 4 cylinder. Cranks easily and runs well. Shifts fine and the brakes work. Was used out west as a hunt club vehicle so there is no title. Vin plate on frame is in place so a bonded NC title will be no problem. New gas tank. Good radiator . Generator puts out a solid 13 volts. Seat frames are present but will need recovering. Has locking hubs and tow bar. Windshield is frame only. I have some additional CJ2A parts and repair panels that are not included in this listing but I will be glad to discuss in person with a potential buyer. This will work as is for an off road hunt vehicle or would make a good restoration project. $2950. Please excuse some the FB mandated nonsense in “about this vehicle ” section. Mileage is unknown. Color is vintage mixed Willys.
