About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
1953 WILLYS CJ3A custom rig, has Buick v6, pto winch, runs/drives/stops, nice tires, needs one rim replaced. Not perfect and needs a few small things but very cool truck none like it anywhere. Transferable NY registration in hand, $5,500 cash or trade for cool stuff.
Location: Osceola, WI (60 miles NE of Minneapolis)
Paperwork: Clean Title for Jeep. Bill of Sale for trailer (WI does not title utility trailers under 3,000 lbs).
Overview:
Nice Motorpool / Frontline Medical Corps rig. The Jeep features an authentic U.S. Army stencil theme and is paired with a matching M416-A1 1/4-ton military cargo trailer. This package is mechanically excellent, turn-key, and ready for local cruises, parades, or historical shows. Being sold on behalf of the widow of the late owner. 50+ photos available.
Jeep Mechanical & Powertrain Updates:
• Engine: Complete, professional engine rebuild. Starts easily and runs excellent.
• Transmission: Fully rebuilt manual transmission & transfer case.
• Brakes: Overhauled system including a new master cylinder, new brake lines & new wheel hardware.
• Electrical: Upgraded to a 12-volt conversion
• Receipts: Over $8,500 in documented new parts receipts are included. Estimated $20,000 in total retail parts and 3rd party labor costs.
Jeep Body & Interior:

• Original Steel Body Tub: Solid with repairs as needed. Previous owner enlarged floor inspection port to simplify access for the new master cylinder and brake plumbing; it is structurally sound and hidden beneath the new floor cover.
• Paperwork & Identity: Clean Wisconsin title with a state-assigned, fully vetted legal VIN matching the paperwork (X16C1865). Firewall plate was removed but the original mounting screws and holes are present. A replacement can be etched with correct current title number legally.

• Vietnam-era M416-A1: 1/4-ton trailer with correct faceted fenders and rear-corner grab handles.
• Option:: Includes new, reproduction canvas trailer top and a digital PDF copy of the military TM 9-2330-251-14 Technical Manual mapping out every factory part. No ID plate included.
• Underside & Frame Structure: The underside is largely solid (frame rails, right-side supports, and floor ribs are in good shape). The front-right frame channel member features a heavy-duty steel reinforcement plate thru-bolted directly into the frame rail to stiffen a standard high-stress towing area. Note: There is one spot of rust-through on the left side of the center cross-member.
• Wiring: Harness is present inside the frame but was cut clean at the hitch; needs a standard vehicle plug connector wired up for the tail lights.
• Suspension: Retains its original military 10-leaf spring packs, showing the stamped U.S. Ordnance blueprint part number ending in #7328358.
Terms of Sale: The combination is sold as-is, where-is. Serious inquiries only please.

1953 Willy’s jeep with a custom safari style hardtop. Have title and registered non-op so no late fees. Has small block Chevy under hood. Pto winch. Hasn’t run in decades. Cleaning out the yard. Not interested in any trades. I will delete and block any lowball offers sent before even seeing it in person.
Unfinished project over $8700 in parts from Kaiser Willys 90% complete with most parts to finish brand new body, new suspension, all new brakes driveline completely gone through. With overdrive With transferable New York registration.
Nice Willys… new tires, new front suspension, new interior, new steering gear, motor rebuilt, new top and doors, it’s been sitting for the last ten years, driven a couple of times per year. Needs a home where it will be driven.
I’m selling a 1952 Willys CJ3A Jeep. Plus another 1952 parts Jeep. And tiger top and seats. It still has the original flat head four cylinder 134 “Go Devil” engine. Still needs steering box and miscellaneous parts.
$2500 obo. 1954 Willy’s jeep. CLEAN TITLE in my name. Body is rough. Motor in the jeep apparently has a crack and they pulled the oil pan. Motor on skid ran when it was pulled from what I was told. Extra front and rear differentials can go with as well. Seat frames are in alright condition. As is where is any questions feel free to ask. Sitting on a full set of 16” wheels. A lot of goodies go with the jeep and they are hard to find complete with paperwork
Mike sent over this collection of parts out of Central KY. The price is really OBO or really would like to pass it on so it is not scrapped, so even a donation would go a long way to get this into someone who could use the parts or pass it on.
I have been able in the past to take some stuff like this and pass it on to others and they have done the same to me, so its a good part of the hobby trying to get some of this in the right hands.
1 – Dauntless 225 V6 Block with pistons froze in block
I probably have a few more things but not sure. Most of this stuff needs work, but I am not looking at making a profit. I just want it to go to a good home before I scrap everything. I will take any donation if someone wants to get some of this stuff.
Willys CJ3A engine for sale. This engine turns over by hand but I have never run it. It has an earlier style head and the serial number is illegible. Gear driven with forward facing engine mount.
YEAR IS MORE LIKELY WRONG THAN NOT—LICENSE PLATE READS 1945
This is a preliminary posting.
Reach out if you want to be notified as I learn more. I will be poking and prodding it more at this later on this week.
Looks like a trail build. Cj-3a? V-6 swapped?
Right now, I only know that it has keys, its complete, and it looks like fun. I’m inclined to believe, but have yet to verify, that the paper title is available on-demand. Fairly certain this is a titled vehicle. I intend to get it running because I want you to pay me more for it because that will make my client very happy with me.
I want this to be a good deal for you and the owner. I have other considerations that supercede middle-manning for profit here.
There’s 2 other classic jeeps that are weird. The other one that I looked at I think is a Kaiser Jeepster Commando C101 model. Engine is gone but otherwise complete and not in bad shape at all. Has a PTO driven winch 4×4 and locking hubs. I don’t know about the 3rd unit.
