CJ-3A Engine L-134

Willys CJ3A engine for sale. This engine turns over by hand but I have never run it. It has an earlier style head and the serial number is illegible. Gear driven with forward facing engine mount.

Willys Jeep L-134 engine and T-90 transmission
$500 Calhoun, GA
Not a T-98 but the seller is parting ou a family collection so fully understandable, the T-96 looks to have only 4 bolts on the top cover, a t-90 has the same 6 bolts. Another 2WD set up for someone. I’m not up on the casting numbers of fthe L134. Good price IMO.
INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
A pretty much complete Willys Jeep engine and transmission. One cylinder on the block will probably need to be sleeved so I dropped the price. The transmission is supposedly a column shift T-98. The casting number on the cylinder head is 840161. From my research this engine/trans combo was used from 1944 to 1953. This was in my Dads collection of stuff so I know little about it. Please inquire with questions and I will do my best to answer them. Thanks.

Jeep-Willys L-134 Long Blocks, Trans – $695 Chevy Chase, MD
INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
Two 1940’s Willys Engines, Two matching 3spd Transmissions, One Bell Housing. These are the legendary 4 cylinder Flathead
“Go Devil” engines,
for early ‘40s Willys cars and Jeeps.
May have early 50’s applications as well.
The transmissions are floor shift models and are in good shape.
Also included are extra parts, including WO carburetors, steering columns, brake parts, etc. please see photo.
The newer long block is possibly from a generator application, which is said to be desirable for some Jeep restorers.
Come load and haul away. Engine Hoist can be available if necessary. Delivery may also be possible depending on your location.
