Mario shared this article, published on March 25, 1944, in the Courier-Journal out of Louisville, Kentucky. a while ago on Facebook. It shares the news about a Bantam BRC-60 that was sent to the Smithsonian.
I wonder if the Smithsonian still has it ?
They still own it, but it is on display at the Heinz history center in Pittsburgh, PA.

Thanks for bringing up the question. I meant to include it in the article. The publish date was March 25, 1944.
A little behind-the-scenes info … with articles like these, if I know the date, I normally add the date into the name of the article (not sure if anyone ever figured that out or not). It helps me keep articles organized on my computer. So, if you check out the image name, you most times you will see a date.
