“Selling my 1942 GPW. This is a script model GPW. It starts runs and drives but needs to be gone through. The electrical is still the 6 volt system and it is operational. The rear inner fenders were cut to move seats back and fuel tank was relocated to rear. The engine is a willys engine and the frame stamping shows as

The vin is also a low number 19_ _ _
I purchase about 15 years ago from my brother in laws father and never restored it. The engine was rebuilt in 1999 and runs smoothly
I believe one of the clutch or flywheel bolts have backed out. Clutch down no noise clutch up makes a rotational clunking sound
It spent most of its life in Twain Harte so we know its history back to the 60s. Have some extra parts
