Bill shared this video of a Ford GP that was found in a junk yard (The Jeep was found there, not the video). A bit too much patina for my taste.

1963 Jeep J-200 Townside on eBay
Barney Goodwin shared this ad and confirmed the rare bed was an early option. He noted, “Just to confirm. We have the leather factory presentation book from September, 1962, and it shows the Townside bed was an option on all 3 models 100, 200 and 300. It’s a really neat book. Actual color photographs pasted into gold printed fames and all the specs and details.. In 1962, the factory hired an additional 1000 employees for the J-series line.”

“Awesome solid restoration project up for grabs! ONE WEEK AUCTION! NO RESERVE! MUST BE PICKED UP BY NOVEMBER 30TH! Original low mileage 1963 Willy’s Jeep Gladiator J200 4×4 with the Townside bed and Western Plow. Tornado 260 engine with the 3-on-the tree standard transmission. This truck is extremely solid for a truck that spent much of it’s life as a camp plow truck in the Adirondacks. Very low 29,151 miles on it. It will run and drive however the mechanical fuel pump died and the previous owner put in an electrical unit that has too much pressure and it keeps flooding the carb. Aside from that, all I can think of that it would need is some new rubber gaskets on the gas tank filler pipe. They dried out. Continue reading
1963 4WD Sedan Delivery Darby, MT **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on ebay.
Glenn shared this 4×4 panel wagon that could use some floor love. There appears to be plenty of solid wagon still left here.
“63 Willy’s Panel. 4×4. Super hurricane six cylinder flathead. Solid body with typical front floor board rust. hat channels and pillars are solid. Engine runs well, nice quiet and smooth. No smoke at all, seems to be a great engine. Clutch transmission, and 4 wheel hi and lo all work good. Generator charges 13.8 volts. Drivers door latch doesn’t always latch. Vehicle has been in dry storage a lot of years in the hands of a collector who passed away. Montana title is clean and matches vin data plate.
runs good for loading for transport. tires are old. I live near a main highway with truck access for shipping or pickup. Buyer pays $500 deposit within 48 hours and remainder to be paid within 7 days.
Vehicle can be stored for the winter if it is paid for within 7 days.”
1965 CJ-6A Tuxedo Park IV San Fernando Valley, CA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $22,500. Has a Pepsi Surrey look to it: https://cj3b.info/Siblings/SurreyPepsi.html
Sri spotted his pretty Tux park.
“his is one of the rarest jeeps ever made. My understanding is that they only made approximately 460 of the CJ-6A Tuxedo Park Mark IV which has a 20 inch longer wheelbase than the CJ-5’s. This one was originally sold new at Desert Rambler Jeep dealership in Indio California. It has been in a dry California climate all of its life. It has a 134ci in-line four-cylinder motor and a three speed manual transmission on the column. I have just put brand new period correct off-road tires on it.

Happy Thanksgiving!
UPDATE: Other than checking emails and comments, I will likely be away from the site until Sunday. Everyone enjoy your Thanksgiving!
Here’s a republished post form 2018:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
If you’d like a nice story to read this Thanksgiving, you can try an article about Durwood J. Smith. The story contains both a jeep and a Thanksgiving memory on the Western Front (see Durwood’s pic below) … do you know how hard that combo is to find?? If not for Roberto Flores, we wouldn’t even have art depicting jeeps and turkeys together!!

This one page brochure (I’m assuming there is info on the back?) is one I haven’t seen. If it weren’t for the UK postage, I’d grab it.

====================
I can find no date for this Champion Company Doo-All ‘Jeep” Trailer brochure. Give only CJ-2As are shown, I initially thought this was published around 1948. However, the lack of Jeep wagons or trucks may indicate the brochure was published earlier than that. The from number is S-3-T.
This first 8″x11.5″ page is the front page:
The brochure opens horizontally to review a second page.
The right page opens horizontally again, to reveal a trip-fold:
This is the back of the brochure:
