1968 Jeep Commando $4,500 Mt Pleasant, MI
Nothing lasts forever, this top will need replacing down the road. Has some areas of rust, but hard to say, I don’t think the price is horrible, this will be colder to plow in, that’s what I think is appealing to the Arctic or Hard Tops at times on Plow Rigs with a small heater. V6 should be a neat project here if the underside is in decent shape. That top is just not good at any level.
Tools That Just Work!
Back to a serious side for a minute if you are looking for a Made In USA, grommet and snap installer, to fix and create some great stuff to replace this rig’s pretty horrible top situation the Press-N-Snap tools are just amazing. They were invented out of the need to repair and install things in the field, the quality is very high, I have a set and they are really amazing. (there are knock off’s but why when you can own the original!) If you have used the manual method with the little wooden block and the parts this is not even on the same Planet.
Press-n-Snap
Information from seller:
Jeep Commando Roadster with snowplow, convertible top an canvas too, tires are good, V 6 motor, standard transmission 75000 miles. Will need a new top eventually.

That top, we used to call it “SLOB ART”. other than that, might be a good deal.
I guess anything is 10x times better then nothing. They did add the snaps.
