1969 Jeep CJ6 $3,000 Cumberland Gap, TN
May have been up for a while.
INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
Up for sale is a rare, all-original 1969 Jeep CJ6. If you know your Jeeps, you know the CJ6 is the “long wheelbase” brother to the CJ5, offering a much smoother ride and significantly more cargo space. This is a true survivor and a perfect candidate for a full restoration or a rugged trail rig.
The Powertrain
This Jeep features the legendary Buick Dauntless 225 cubic inch V6.
• Engine: 225 CID “Odd-Fire” V6—factory-rated at 160 hp and 235 lb-ft of torque.
• Transmission: 3-speed manual.
• Transfer Case: Dana 18.
• Axles: Dana 44 rear.
It features the heavy “Jeep-only” flywheel designed to provide incredible low-end crawlability that the standard Buick passenger car engines didn’t have
• Originality: This Jeep is all original, maintaining the classic 1969 configuration.
• Bonus: Included with the sale is $1,000 worth of parts (details available upon request/at viewing) to help with your project.
• Status: Selling in “used” condition. It’s a 50+ year-old Jeep, so it has character and patina, but it’s a solid foundation for any Jeep enthusiast.

Seems like the full hardtop would add some value to this project, although I like the look of a CJ-6 with a half cab better.
The other benefit of the full hard top is preserving the interior components of the Jeep, especially the dash. US Forest and Border Patrol used CJ6s with hard tops.
