I usually don’t comment on price and leave that to the comment section, you guys always do a good job for me, I do find some of these prices very amusing at times, tad on the higher end here. But I do think it’s a cool rig. It’s a family rig here so lots to unpack at times. – Tim

INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
THIS JEEP WAS MY GRANDFAATHERS MOST OF HIS LIFE. He dropped a 327 Chevy motor in it for faster response. The motor isent running at the` moment i bought ne everything about a year and a half ago but my heath dosent allow me to work on it. I have been having a friend come over twice a year and turn motor over and do light trouble shooting, i hade him put small amounts of diesel fuel in each motor cylinder to keep motor from locking up. it comes with the metal top witch is extremely RARE. legal title still in my grandfathers name.

The cab looks military – Air Force flight line actually or Air Force ambulance. . And the ventilating windshield would have been with that. Plus it has a slave cable port on the pass side, something CJs did not have. And the large pass side opening such as the M170 Ambulance as well as the dash rail. Again, the cab features and faded color of the cab (faded strata blue) leads me to believe this was either a AF cold weather flight line ambulance or maintenance vehicle. Some interesting details here.. And some throw prices to the wall to see what sticks.
