Anyone Recognize this DJ-5

UPDATE: Eric is trying to learn more history about this DJ-5. It is currently has a Harley theme, but previously was blue and white. It has a 350 Chevy small block with a 350 turbo transmission.

    With the way the rear tires stick out past the wheel wells, I can’t figure how the doors slide rearward to open. I had a ’69 DJ-5A in high school and recall there not being a lot of clearance between the door and the rear quarter panel. Otherwise, pretty cool looking DJ.

    That’s a good point. It seems to me the door is swinging out a little, as if there’s nothing guiding it from the bottom or side.

    I’m now the current owner Eric 4436221587, busteric@aol.com, of this 1973 Am General Jeep dispatcher 100 custom mail truck but it is currently (Harley Davidson edition Black & Orange) & other mods seats & steering column & wheel, have been done since these pictures & prior to my purchase 5/9/2017…
    Anyone who has info on this vehicle please feel free to contact me call or text or email guiding me to previous owners & or the persons who gracefully modified this vehicle. I just wanna learn the history on this vehicle… so far I love being the owner… Thanks in advance.
