CJ-2A? I was thinking 3A, due to windshield, lack of bow holders (did CJ-3As have those?), and model year.

Since neither of the side drain holes are showing, I think you’re right about that being bondo chipping away on the drivers side. And here I was thinking that cool patina was from the original surviving paint. Still looks cool, esp. with that top, although $9K seems like an ambitious price.
