Otherwise, I’m not seeing much support for that steering box; typically see thick reinforcing plate(s).
Joe, I agree. At least one bolt appears to go through the frame, so that’s good. But the one atop the frame doesn’t look very strong. Give this isn’t a power steering box, the forces might not be as strong, but still, it seems smarter to have a thicker plate.
