Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This doesn’t run.
“1975 Jeep CJ6 straight 6 three speed manual barn yard find out of Montana. Motor is there and body is straight. It has the original front seats and a CJ5 levi edition rear seat. Body is solid very little rust. Doesn’t run right now but it probably would fire up.”

Now, this is a barn find. Plenty of rust and work needed though.
“1952 willys military jeep needs restoration,it has set for 19yr it is the most complete and original project jeep that I know of in this area,24 volts,most lights work genorator charges engine runs will drive won’t stop needs metal brake line, also needs batereys.floor has been patched under gas tank and passenger floor it is patched well enough for a driver but would recomend replacing with factory floor pans for a show vehicle. Original wheels have been widend to 6 or 8 in wide I would trade the wheels even for a stock set if anyone would be interested,I am asking 3500$ for the jeep as it sets,bill of sale no title located in monterey tn 38574,its about 4hr drive from atlanta 931 349 5022 thanks,8/12 update I put a fresh coat of od paint on it this week end I will ad a couple current pics,hope to replace the leaky water pump,spark plugs and a couple rusty brake lines this week,I am fixing this jeep as a driver but it would be a great frame off restoration project for someone,thanks again.8/23 as the jeep sets it needs several brake lines replaced,also needs 2 batereys and gas tank repaired,right now it is running on a boat tank,as is 3500$ absolute bottom dollar,it will be a few more weeks before I have tkime to work on it again 931 349 5022 monterey tn 38574 ”

Kevin let me know that the jeep has a complete Bobcat fiberglass body and is updated with a Pinto motor. The drivetrain is stock. He says it is nice. The seller is entertaining offers.

“Solid frame, floors replaced with diamond plate, needs body work. Bought new carb, not yet installed. Has newer radiator and brakes done by last owner. This jeep is a mahindra, an Indian built cj5. Bought this jeep last spring, but must now sell because of move. Call Ken 603.566.2258 and leave a message and I’ll get back to you. NO TEXTS PLEASE”

This is a brand new book I spotted on eBay. I’m sure it is available through other books sellers, too. I haven’t read it, so I can’t say how many jeep stories there are in it.

Ann spotted this photograph on Facebook and wondered if someone could do the same think in the shape of a jeep. I told her I’d post it in case someone one wanted to give it a try . . .
This appears to be an early GAZ 67B that’s fairly original (though I’m no GAZ expert). Here is a similar example at a Moscow Mueseum. The bigger question is whether to bid at all given this is located in Armenia.
“GAZ 67, a Soviet military jeep dating from 1941. All the parts on the vehicle are its originals. The car doesn’t run. It needs to be repainted, the seats need to be rebuilt.
If you are really interested in the car, but want it fixed, we can get it done. But obviously, the price will go little higher.
