About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This is a great price on a 1952 or early 1953 M-38A1.

“1954 Willys Jeep CJ-3B – Complete ground up restoration in 1996. Engine rebuilt at that time, including hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel. Still has the original oil bath air cleaner. Upgraded to 11″ drums all around. Has 2-1/2″ springs on it with 31X 10.5 tires 75+% tread. Full size spare. All stock running gear, 5-38 gearing with lock-right locker in the rear. Has custom fully welded Bumpers front and rear both with 2″ receivers. Rear bumper includes spare tire mount. Also added power steering. Locker, bumpers and power steering work was done around 1998. Jeep was used regularly (every – other weekend or so) from 1996 through 2000. Since 2000 it has been started and driven very little. I replaced the fuel tank and installed a new optima red top battery within the last year. It does need a good tune-up, but everything is working. This is a very clean rust free jeep. We are coming up on 20 years that this Jeep has been in our family and it has always been garaged. “

This is a solid body off restoration, 1500 miles since restoration, purchased 1.5 years ago and have no time to appreciate it. UPDATE: Craig pointed out that it’s possible the MB frame on this the correct frame. Ford used the same frame supplier, Midland Steel, before they contracted with Murray Steel for the GPW frames. (http://olive-drab.com/od_mvg_www_jeeps_mbgpw.php)
“For sale is a World War II, 1942 Script Ford Jeep, GPW, restoration project. Early 1942 Ford “Script Ford”. Might trade for 1965 to 1968 Mustang Fastback or Convertible in similar condition. Body is Ford, Chassis is Willys. Titled on the dash VIN plate as Ford, GPW. Clear Ok. title. Flathead engine is not correct, possibly late 40`s but I do have a Willys MB Block, WW2, (was running engine) that goes with the Jeep. Distributor boss is chipped on the block that is in the Jeep now, also some welding on the side of the block. Kaiser Supersonic head. ( adds 5 horsepower to engine ),I would use parts off the block that`s in it and put the MB engine in the Jeep. see picture. Correct Ford Transmission and Transfer Case. 1 seat is “F” , the other seat is WW2 Willys.”
There is some work still needing to be done, but lots already completed.

“1948 Willy’s jeep, I have had it for about 25 years, parked it when I bought a 4-wheeler..I just got it running after it has sat for about 5 years, it smokes, but its old enough to do so, Ha. There is a complete extra engine that goes with it, plus many other parts, starter, generator, transfer case, spring, oil pans, rear end, and just so many parts I don’t know what all is there, there is a couple engine blocks also that I didn’t take pictures of, Take the jeep and all for $2,500, cash and carry, it is titled, I won’t sell any parts seperate, they are all for these years Willy’s.. Reply back if interested, and we can go from there, doors for the cab are inside it.. Of course its 4-wheel drive..high and low range..Will probably need some work, but it runs and drives as is..”
