About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: Steve sent some more pictures. This is interesting.
Steve had this half cab for sale. It appears to be a CJ-5/CJ-6 model.
Steve writes, “I have this old half top looks like protype of some short. It is not really homemade. It has cut outs for the early rollout windows and a sticker of some kind just under the back window…..would like to sell it … its located in Lander, WY, for $1000. my phone number 307-850-2890.”
“52 willys frame with axles and wheels. Rear of the frame is getting a little thin. One spot of rot is shown in the pictures. Has a plow frame attached. The front bumper is coated in rubber. Looks like it could have been an aftermarket plow kit”

Here’s a rare can of Antifreeze for auction on eBay
“WOW! WOW! WOW! Up for bids is a super rare WILLY’S MOTORS ANTI-FREEZE Can. This beauty is a 1 quart can and has had the lid removed. This would be a great addition to any oil or Jeep collection! Feel free to email me with any questions!”
“I’m not sure of the exact age of this set but they did come off a WW2 GPW. I have heard that dual wheel adapters may have been used during WW2 particularly on radio jeeps but I have not personally seen photos or documents to substantiate this. I do have a Korean War era photo from the National Archives that does show duals on a GPW/MB. (photo above in slide show)
The dual wheel kit is very easy to install. Remove the original lug nuts from a wheel, leave the wheel on, install extended lug nuts, install the cast hub, install next wheel, and tighten up original lug nuts on extended lug nuts.
The kit includes both left (5) and right (5) threaded extended lug nuts and two cast hubs.
These dual adapters are in good usable shape; there are a couple chips out in the lips of each casting but these chips do not affect use or appearance. They are not visible with the second wheel installed.
These Dual wheel adapters are extremely hard to find so don’t miss this rare opportunity to put this ready to go set on your jeep. You’ll be sure to stand out in the crowd and these can be shipped world wide.”
Hector lives in Puerto Rico and wrote to me that he needs some parts. He writes, “i need one arm rest, two door looks and two latches, for a 1961 willys truck.” You can contact Hector at: hectormanuel16 at hotmail.com
This is a brand new item with free shipping. I looked for interesting knobs when I built Biscuit, but eventually settled for a tractor one. The seller has a variety of branded knobs also: http://stores.ebay.com/LOST-IN-THE-50S
“For years, I have had bidders ask me about a suicide steering wheel knob that would be good for real heavy duty use on trucks, fork-lifts, tractors riding lawnmowers and will work for handicapped drivers.
WELL I finally found one that will fit the bill for all of these uses and more. This top quality steering wheel knob is constructed from heavy-duty aluminum and steel. Ball bearings give it a smooth turning action and the tough mounting brackets provide a very strong hold on the steering wheel when installed properly.”
