About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1948 Willys CJ2A – It ran and drove, but I removed, cleaned and rebuilt the motor with new bearings and seals. Had been bored before, pistons and cylinders are all good, no ridge. Extra set of military tires/rims. Titled.”
“1946 Willy’s CJ2A Jeep made to look like a military Jeep. Everything works as should and is a really fun Jeep to drive. It has a 1952 3B engine, runs great, no known issue. Pictures show all the positives and negatives. A lot has gone into this Jeep, but only asking $6500. Missouri title in hand. Don’t need help selling. Email me with interest, we may work out phone contact and ability to see/drive. Would consider part cash part trade..”
“This Jeep has been garage/basement kept at least the last 40 years. Last ran in 1989, stopped using it because the brakes failed, peddle went to the floor, don’t know what’s wrong. Original 4 cylinder engine and transmission. Inspected in 1985. Being sold as is, where is.”
“Willys CJ2A runs and drives good. Original 6 volt 4 cyl engine
Good shape for the age.
Some patches, (etc) as to be expected for a vehicle of this vintage.”
Seller has a “truck load of good useable spare parts” that accompany the jeep.
“I have owned this jeep for over 30 years and it always ran great… it has a buick dauntless 225 v6 with comp cam and 4 bbl carb T 90 3 speed w warn overdrive, dana 18 double stick transfer case [ 4 shift levers ] d41 rear d25 front, full cage roll bar, pwr tilt steering, 11 in brakes, bfg mud terrain 33-10.50-15, modular rims…… there is also a truck load of good useable spare parts 2 motors [v6 and 4 cyl ] a d27 front, d44 rear, t90 trans w transfer case. tons of small parts, almost enough parts to build another one. remember this thing is over 70 years old so yes it has a few problems but a really solid jeep overall.”
“47 WILLYS CJ2A Buick 231, WARN locking hubs, Dana 41’s front and back, D18 with Warn overdrive, brand new seats. New hoses, belts, new gel battery, and all fluids. Ran, purchased a new carburetor but have not tuned it yet.”
“1946 Willys Jeep Military/after world war 1 4×4 CJ2A Small 260 Ford V-8
Needs all grease seals and gaskets replaced as it has been sitting for 5 years the picture shows no windshield and one seat gone but we have them in storage also shows new paint except we never got around to painting the dash board.
