About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Vintage running Willys Jeep with Aluminum hardtop. needs some TLC. Back top opens upward, tailgate comes down.
My dad purchased back around 1990 – 2000s. He used it to plow snow out of the driveway for my momma. He got sick in 03′ and passed in 012. Momma says sale. We have it running and driving, blade works, cleaned up, found a back seat that fits in back. call for more info.”
“I am selling my 1947 Willys CJ-2A.
No longer has its original 4 cylinder engine, but has been updated to a V6 for increased top speed, horsepower, and reliability.
Has adjustable/sliding front seats, and also has a CJ-3a windshield (the added leg room and head room make this much more enjoyable to drive as I am 6’4”).
Has been garaged kept. 3 speed manual transmission. Over Drive. 4 wheel drive. New radiator. Extra Rear seat is a very nice adition.
Turns heads everywhere I go.
Comes with black bikini top, Full Soft Top and Door (~$700 value itself), front tow bar and tow lights.
Keep in mind, this vehicle is nearly 70 years old, so it does have some minor cosmetic bumps and bruises, I like to think of them as added “character.” I’m Getting married, so this baby unfortunately has to go.
Serious inquires only, please email me.”
(08/30/2015) The jeep no longer has the M-151 rims on it.

“47 Willy’s CJ2A All original barn find. 54,000 miles, runs and drives great. we did recover the seats, and rebuilt the brakes, new battery. You will never find one this old in this great shape, under seat tool box still in solid shape. Comes with a Sears&Robuck aluminum cab. It makes it look like a small pick-up. This jeep was on the same farm it’s whole life.”
Joe forwarded this VEC for auction. Lots to like here.

This jeep has been repainted, org. color was light Gray, It has column gear shift. org. engine, data plates.Vin#13377 making this the 3377 CJ2A Jeep made. It has been converted to 12 volts, and comes with the 6 volt parts to change back. It has the indentations like the military Jeep for axe & shovel”
“For Sale red 1947 CJ2A Jeep. In good condition. It is not a show Jeep… its a survivor. Lots of original parts as well as some Bubba modifications. It can be driven as is ( has an open ground wiring issue that needs to be traced out). I have two parts jeeps come with the jeep. Parts Jeeps are 1946 and in very rough shape… not complete! Pictures to follow… wanted to get this up while I was thinking of it. Divorce is forcing me to get rid of a very dear toy… I will miss it. Best offer”
“Original engine and tranny, very good frame, mechanically sound jeep. motor was rebuilt a couple thousand miles ago. top is in good condition, wheels and tires have low miles on them, mild suspension lift, fender flares, lock out hubs, fiberglass body is in great condition.
I am 28 now, and have had the Jeep since I was 14. restored it at age 18 and it has sat in a garage most of the time since then. this jeep was tastefully built and gets a lot of compliments.”
“1946 Willys cj2a. Has flathead engine with a “MB” block. I’ve used this on my farm for a number of years, runs good and fun to drive. Lots of original parts. Not a show Queen but she’ll be the belle of the ball!”
“1948 CJ2A Jeep
Run and drives (Engine runs very smooth with no smoke)
New exhaust and battery.
Includes windshield frame, many new parts, and complete manuals.
Clean TX title. ”
“This is a great project for a Jeep person! Two Jeeps for the price of one. First is a military MB Jeep. The body is in good shape, solid, has recored radiator, new front bumper, original rims have been blasted and ready for paint in the back. Some other parts in boxes go along with also. No engine, transmission or transfer case. This one is easily restoreable and would be a great parade vehicle or military collectible. The second Jeep is a civilian CJ2A which is very similar to the first one, it has the drivetrain still in it. Engine is stuck but could probably be freed up. Body on this one is not as bad as some , between the two you can make one runner! Neither one currently has a title, but can be titled with little effort. Asking $2200 or best offer for both, need to go before winter so come look and make an offer!”
“I have a project Willys Jeep, 1946, that needs a total restore. I have started it but have too many things going on to finish it. I have purchased the kit to make it a 12 volt system, including the alternator and starter has been rebuilt to 12V and the points and plugs and rotor and cap. I have kicked the starter over and it turns over fine. Have not gotten it started yet. I took the old tires off and getting ready to blast the wheels. new 12V battery. New ignition switch. I also purchased a new clutch. If interested call or TXT to see it.”
