Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks nice on the outside, but a bit rustic on the inside due to a wood floor.

This was likely a Safari Kar based on the rims, steering wheel, and tail lights.
“1976 Jeep with straight 6 and 3 speed automatic transmission. This is a 2wd DJ5 Jeep with 31 inch BF Goodrich tires. Great fun if you have some land or live near the open desert. We use this Jeep to get around on our property and take into the wash. Runs and drives but the transmission does slip going into second gear but will drive around town fine. Make offer or will consider trades”

“1975 DJ-5 Postal Jeep. THIS IS A TWO WHEEL DRIVE JEEP. Can be converted to four wheel drive. Engine is AMC Inline six cylinder 232 cubic inches. Needs a lot of work, BUT IS SMOG EXEMPT.”

Needs a little work, but the body looks solid.
“Mail jeep. Right hand drive. Perfect for door to door deliveries like mail and newspapers. 1 seat. Delivery tray next to driver. Needs new brakes and ignition key. No other known problems. Ran great until I took it for a brake inspection and they broke the brake shoes, didn’t have replacement parts, and they lost the ignition key”
