This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1962 Jeep FC170 (Forward Control). Baby Blue, All Good Glass, Good Body, Engine (Hurricane – 6) and tranny (3 speed manual) are there. 62 fc170 jeep runs needs fuel pump &brake work. Has some rust but really cool rig.

Runs and drives, but seller has been having some carb problems.
“This is a beautiful vintage ice cream truck. 1984 AM General FJ-8C. Rare, very hard to find these days. It was formerly a mail postal truck. Freezer and shelving built in. We used it for shaved ice. We got a bigger truck so sadly, it’s time to see her go to a new home.
Runs and drives but it will stall out going up steep hills and sometimes at idle. Sometimes it’s hard to start. Drove it today and it ran great until I went up a steep hill then it bogged down and idled rough after that. Ran good a couple years ago when I drove it 500 miles from where I bought it but we left it sitting as a retail shop for one year then drove it home and let it sit in the driveway another year.

(06/15/2015) Seller has had it in body shop. He has no recent photos.
“Needs restore, complete, not sure about matching numbers but I think it is. I had a body guy start on it and lost funding, im not sure how far he got but ive paid $3600 so far. Im picking it up in the next couple weeks. Its currently in gill ma”

“I have a 1962 jeep willys fc150 project forsale. It needs restored, the body is in great condition for its age. I needs body work and paint. The engine ran when I pulled the cab and bed off the frame to restore it. I am now getting married and don’t have time and funds to finish, but will make an awesome project when it is completed.”

“I have a 1957 Jeep FC (Forward Control) project that I do not have time to finish and need the space. Attached pictures tell the story, but in short, two chassis, one cab, one bed, two engines (one rebuilt) and many many parts.
