This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “!!! VERY RARE 1961 JEEP WILLYS FC150 4×4!!! Great Project for any TRUE JEEP Lover. This is a 1961 Jeep Willys FC150 4×4. This is a flat nosied jeep that was used mostly up North and not in the Florida area. You would have a very hard time finding this truck in Florida. I bought it from the original owner and had to have it shipped from South Carolina. This is a great truck which turns heads every time I open the Garage. Truck RUNS but needs body work, good solid wood bed. I bought the truck to restore it but have not had the time to put into it. This would be a great Ratrod Truck or restoration project. If you are looking for that one of a kind truck that everyone asks “What Is That” this is the one.”

THE JEEP RUNS AND STEERS VERY WELL, BOTH SIDE WINDOW GLASS IS CRACKED BUT IN TACK AND DO ROLL UP AND DOWN, THE JEEP HAS BEEN REPAINTED AND HAS OVER SPRAY ON THE MOLDINGS, IT HAS ITS DINGS, SCRATCHES, CHIPS BUT OVER ALL CONDITION OF THE BODY IS SOLID, ODOMETER READS 60184 BUT WE UNSURE IF THAT IS ACCURATE, HEADLIGHTS, TAILLIGHTS, AND BLINKERS ALL WORK, THE UPHOLSTERY HAS TEARS AND RIPS, TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE, THE UNDERCARRIAGE HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN UNDERCOATED AND IS STILL IN GOOD SHAPE!”

This was listed back in July 2013 in Wisconsin as an 80% project for $7500. The restoration has since been completed.
“Frame off restoration over the past 5 years. Just completed. Rebuilt Hurricane 4 cylinder motor. Pulled off frame. Frame painted and detailed. Taken down to bare metal and painted Flat Army Green. It runs and drives great. Demands attention everywhere. You never see these and they are becoming IMPOSSIBLE to find. The actual trucks AND parts. They were only made for four years and most were abused then destroyed. Dont miss out. You may never see a restored, complete example again!”
