Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’m thinking this is a very rare opportunity. I’ve never seen this complement of snow devices on an FC-150.
“1959 Jeep FC-150 Engine Runs Great. New Tires. New Hydrolics to raise Blower. BLOWER is powered by 440Ci. RB with only 70000 miles. This engine replaced a 361 Ci. commercial High Torque engine that developed a rod knock, Totally REPAIRABLE. Also goes with DEAL !! Replace ment is partially complete. Varrious additional parts to both engines also included. LOTS OF FUN !! CASH ONLy !! NO reasonable offer refused”
Here’s an FC-170 with what I assume is a custom bed, though the tilt part is probably original. Not a bad price if the rust situation isn’t too bad (can’t quite tell from the pics).
“I am unsure of the year exactly of the Jeep Willys. We think it is around the 60’s. The truck is an FC 170 3 spd transmission 6 cylinder Super hurricane. The motor has less than 5,000 miles and runs well. The truck has 105,600 original miles. It is four wheel drive, it has a PTO, hydraulic Winch, and a Dump bed. The truck runs good but has been off of the road for 5 years due to the owners death, and there for not inspected. If interested please contact me and I will get the best information I have for you. ”

It’s missing some parts.
“Rare 1962 Jeep FC 170 with snow plow attachment. No engine or tranny. Most people put in chevy V8’s and automatic transmissions in these anyway. I have owned this for many years but never got the chance to restore and modify the way I would like to. My loss is your gain. Just try and find another one for this price. $500 or trade for a good .357 pistol or ??”

The outside this Forward Control looks good to me. Certainly, it needs interior work though.

“I have a 57′ titled as a 58 Forward Control 4×4 Willy’s is decent shape, not perfect by any means but reliable with a good tune up… ‘WLDWLLY’ (plate) has been sitting in my barn since 2001 when I went to seminary in Oklahoma. Just before graduation I had a massive stroke and severely paralyzed my left side. I was hoping that my arm and leg would get better and I’d be able to do something with the Jeep in the future but so far this hasn’t panned out….”
