Excellent candidate for restoration: Willis engine, M38 windscreen, civilian gas tank in rear under floor, 6 volt system, civilian rear bumper, lock-out hubs on front, civilian air cleaner, body in overall good condition (very little rust, mostly surface, except for rear floor-rusted through-see pictures), original data plates, storage compartments in back in good condition.
It has been garage kept for last 15 years. Has not been run since being stored.
Needs: Passenger seat and rear seat, back floor needs repair, driver’s seat needs cushions, military gas tank under driver’s seat, black-out light for left front fender.
Date of delivery: 7/27/1943.”

“1943 willys jeep. 4 cylinder manual transmission with 4 wheel drive. Pink slip in hand. Starts and stops but needs a lot of work. Rust everywhere. Previous owner diamond plated over rust but still needs a lot of body work. Newer fuel tank. I have been told by some that this willys is a civilian model not a military model. Has tow bar for and a fold down front window. Asking 1600 obo.”

“1944 ford jeep. motor has $3000.00 worth of work and parts in it. machine work done by bratz machine in Centerville. I only used it for parades and once in awhile to go around town to keep everything lubed. It does need a new carb and a radiator. I can start it so you can hear it run, at present it has a car rad. in it so I can drive it once in awhile. military tires with one combat rim. I also have an extra trans, a transfer case and frount and rear differentials. This is cash and I do not need or want help selling this. as well as scammers forget it I know all your tricks. You bring the money and you take it home no other way.”
