“Available to adventure seeker this 1944 Ford jeep. For the casual user, it wouldn’t take much to get this puppy going. For the restorer a good foundation. With what’s there, all appears to be original. Data plate shows DOD of 5-4-44. Ford body, frame are proper. Transmission appears to be a T90. Vehicle is located approx.. 17 miles off HWY 101 near Laytonville CA.”
It appears this is a WWII chassis and front clip (fenders/grille/hood) with a CJ-2A or CJ-3A body. In addition, the steps on the body have been modified and the drain holes on the sides have been filled. The rear of the body appears to be filled in. The windshield is aftermarket or from an M-38. The front and rear bumpers have been modified. Contact lindsey for more info: 831.227.8497
“This is from a family estate, we are in the Bay Area California and prefer a local buyer. Price is firm due to estate parameters. Thanks for taking a look!

“26,462 miles. Owned by one family for 60 years. Always reliable until parked. Tons of potential if you have the time. Will sell to first reasonable offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500.
This initially appeared as a 1941 GP, as that is what was on the title. After a bit of sleuthing, we figured out that this is a 1943 GPW frame with a 1942 GPW body on it.
“For sale 1943 GPW Military Jeep, with a 1942 Ford Script tub. Starts every time and is easy and fun to drive. Very clean World War II jeep shows great in parades and would be perfect for those re-enactors.
There are some additions to the jeep that are not original, updated to 12 volt system, locking hubs and diamond plate on back fenders added by prior owner. Also included are tool pouch, paperback manual, two unopened boxes with contract number that are Shim Cap Sets, and a US military backpack with canteen. Will not ship and I do not need help selling.”
