UPDATE: **Status Unknown** was $5000.
(09/17/2017) Looks like a cj head rather than a military one.
“1942 original Ford Jeep GPW military jeep. Original engine, tranny (4×4) body, glass, top, etc. (wheels and seats not original) parked it running in a storage unit in 2002 and it’s been there ever since (it was put on non-op, no back fees). Still has the same fluids, so definitely need to swap all that out. No leaks. I don’t know much about it other than it ran when it went in and it hasn’t been touched ever since. The original wood hood has some peeling at the front, the rest of the body is straight. No dents dings chipped paint, nothing like that. Tires still have air in them. Spare on back. I pushed on the clutch and shifted through the gears just fine, and that’s all I know. Let the pictures do the rest of the talking.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500.
Tool indents have been replaced/pounded out/ filled in.

“Came off late 1942 GPW. Tub has several solid straight panels. Dash, cowl and firewall all straight but dash has some extra holes. Fenders need inner support brackets and some minor patching but appear straight and never dented. Hood also straight. Glove box door is straight and has left and right info plates but they were painted over. Glove Box is solid and straight and button appears original but is frozen up.”

Joe-in-Mesa, think Jan will agree to a plow jeep? You’ll be prepared in case it snows 🙂
“Antique WWII “Willy” Jeep with attached Snow Plow
Was driven in Williams, Az until 1992. From 1993 – now parked in garage in Gilbert and not used.
Exterior of basic jeep looks solid. Interior needs lots of work.
Custom cab cover very worn. See pictures for condition.
Snow plow worth around 1K.”
Blaine shared this GPW.
“1942 Ford GPW Script: Serial number 34183. Date of delivery, 6-16-42. This is a project jeep. The engine is an original GPW, it does not match the frame and data plate in numbers. Engine is stuck, but shows no external damage or cracks. Transmission is the correct early type with the fill plug on the right side. Radiator is F-marked as are most of the other parts on the jeep. Does not have combat wheels. I do not have extra parts to put with it. What I did have, is now on the jeep to make it complete. I have an original WWII pintle hook to put on, but it is not F-marked. Body is great shape for its age. Rust issues have been documented in the photos. The frame is exceptional. The front gussets are gone but the horns have never been plated, gusseted, welded or broken. This goes for the rear also. To make the dash more complete, I put a new temp gauge in, and a new keyed ignition switch. I have also included another original grill since the one on the jeep is banged up bad. Sold without title.”
