Joe and his GPW attended the 24th Annual Military Vehicle Show held by the Arizona Military Vehicle Collectors Club this past weekend. It looks like he was having plenty of fun!

(01/16/2015) The engine compartment looks good.
“Rare 1953 M38A1. This is a military Willys. Hurricane with three speed. Runs well. has been garaged since I have owned it. I bought it in 2004 and have put less than 100 miles on it. I have replaced many parts. It’s been converted to 12 volts. Has the full top in good condition. Would benefit from another frame off. Parts are easy to find and easy to work on. If you are not familiar with this generation of “Jeep” this is a military vehicle from the Korean War Era. This is certainly a very clean and complete example. Clean title in hand. Won’t last. Please contact for more info.”
Looks good.
“Tub off restoration, engine and trans rebuilt. All new brakes including master cyl. and lines. New gas tank, rebuilt carb. New top and seats. Five new ND tires with new tubes installed. Original 24volt system, all lights work. I have many pictures of rebuild. NO trades wanted! Jeep runs and drives fine. Title in my name.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000.
Can’t tell a lot, but is sure looks promising.
“Mint condition, 1953 Willys Jeep with all of the Army decals. You do not find an army jeep in this condition often. This jeep looks like it just came off the show room floor prior to going to a Mash movie. All stock except for the front wheel hubs. I drove it in the Daffodil parade and taken it to car shows. It is a head turner.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500
(06/17/2014) “I have a 1954 M38A1 Military Jeep for sale. It has 20,000 original miles on it. I have gone through everything on the Jeep. I have owned it since 1986 but I don’t get to use it much anymore so I decided to sell it instead of letting it sit, when someone else could be driving it and having a good time. Hot August Nights is just around the corner.
UPDATE: **SOLD** No Price was listed. Now listed here.
Maybe there’s some value here??
“For sale by owner: 1954 Willys M38-A1 Jeep. All original. Does not run, but has all the original parts. It was running when it was parked in 2010 and was painted yellow over the Army green because the original owner who got it from the military sale used it while working on a road construction crew. I intended to restore it, but have never got to start because of health reasons. It is a military vehicle that has never been titled. ”
Needs work of some kind, but looks good on the outside.
“1955 jeep willes 4×4 1,200 dollars worth of tires and rims, built small block needs some tlc but runs and drives contact dave”
It’s a project, but might be pretty solid.
“1953 ex-military jeep 7700 miles no rust, stored indoors. It is an unfinished project. Extra parts, body is in very good shape.”
