“’43 Willys for sale. Needs interior work and some body work. RUNS! Has 8 cylinder Ford motor.
1200 but open to all offers. No title, vehicle was only used as a crawler/hunting Jeep. Able to get new title at DMV, but never did since I did not use for city transportation.”
This is a rough project.
“THIS IS A VERY EARLY PRODUCTION WILLYS MB. IT HAS SLAT GRILL AND REAR WILLYS SCRIPT. THE VIN IS I02095.
THIS CAME FROM A FARMERS FIELD WHERE IT HAS BEEN SITTING SINCE THE 1950’S. THE JEEP FLOOR BOARD IS VERY RUSTY BUT THE REAR IS PRETTY GOOD. THE MOTOR WAS COVERED AND HAS OIL IN IT. TRANSMISSION AND TRANSFER CASE ARE STILL IN THE JEEP. THIS WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT WILLYS TO RESTORE GIVEN IT IS SUCH AN EARLY PRODUCTION. PLEASE SEE ALL THE PICTURES WHICH INCLUDE A LOT OF PARTS. NO TITLE. WILL PROVIDE BILL OF SALE.”

(11/12/2014) It’s been in the family for a while.
“It is not a stock motor… I do know it’s a V6. I have the top frame.. Seen in the photos leaning next to the jeep on the right.
The radiator hose is off and the fan is off. It needs a battery and fan belt, radiator hoses. Plus it looks like the passenger side wheel bearing is leaking and needs repaired.
My dad had a mechanic working on it. My dad past away. The mechanic told me he did get it running. I am not able to check it myself.
One side is cracked on the windshield. I am asking $7500. I will accept the best offer I get.
It is located in Oakridge. It is inside out of the weather. It has been kept inside
since my dad got it over 40 years ago.
If you’d like to make an appointment to take a look you can reach me on my cell. I will return your call if you leave a message.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
There looks to be value here.
“1945 Willys MB, ford 4cyl motor out of a 72 ford pinto, original t89 transmission, had it running, driving and stopping in the summer but the gas tank is disconnected at the moment. This Willys is solid but has seen its fair share of work in the past 70 years. Gas tank well and rear fender compartments are rotted everything else is solid. Front and rear bumpers are lally columns. There is NO TITLE and I do not believe it was ever titled it has been on a farm in MA since mid 70s and at a bear camp in Maine prior to that.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $19,000.
Looks nice.

UPDATE: Was $12,500 **SOLD**
(02/10/2015) Sounds like this might have some interesting history.
“Up for sale is my 1943 Willys MB army jeep. It was motor pool refurbished by a WWII veteran and friends. I bought it from his son after he passed on. When I bought it I cleaned the fuel tank and lines and installed a new fuel pump. It runs okay but the engine needs a tune up. Brakes work good. Transmission runs quietly, but shifts poorly from 1st to second, and back. Tub was rusty but repaired. Needs new wiring, and generator rebuilt. Lights don’t work. Have speedometer and other gauges, but aren’t in great shape. Needs shocks. Comes with new NDT tires. Also have 5 combat wheels that go with it. This jeep has lots of extras. Clear open title. Reenactment quality. $12,500. I like to trade, but don’t ask unless you have a delorean or clean jeep wrangler /sahara that is paid for. Price is firm, I don’t have to sell. Don’t need a job, or help selling it. As always, local pickup and cash only. Serious inquiries only”
