Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1945 Willys MB. This was given to Army ordinance in 1945.Serial# 422510. Needs complete restoration.Ran when parked but motor is now stuck from sitting.Was going to restore myself but never got around to it so after 20 years wife says it needs to go.”

(10/01/2011) Given that the grille and the rear end are from a CJ, I suspect this is a hybrid build.
“Re-built, new steel body, rebuilt orginal engine,trans, rear-end. Front wheel drive. New brakes and brakes lines, 5 new tires, spare 5 gallon gas can. Front seats upholstered. Not completely restored, missing some tie-down braskets and canvass top,speedometer gauge and cable.
Drives and runs good.”

It’s a little rough, but plenty of parts there. I can’t tell much about the Wagon.
“I have an antique Willis Sedan and a Willis WWII Jeep. Both were my dads but have been sitting for a long time, both have some parts missing. I would love to fix them both up but I dont have the time two. Im not sure what theyre worth but I know they are both rare so im thinking $1200 or the best offer. stin forwarded this unusual item. Some defrosting units were used during WWII, though those were 12 volt. They vary in price from $35 to over $100 depending on condition and completeness.
“Defroster kit that attaches to windshield and has a switch that mounts under dash and a fuse protector. 12-Volt.

Not quite all original. The back has been cut out, too. I had a difficult time location Ewan on Google Maps. I had to switch to Mapquest to locate it.
