Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has original 6 volt system. Was running when I parked in the garage. Needs wood on the bed. Some minor rust.

Runs and drives.
“6 cylinder hurricane engine, original running gear. I was going to restore it, don’t have the time. I did have the seat and door panels recovered with leather. Put on brand new knobby tires. This would be a good project for someone that wants to do the body work, it has dents. Otherwise, 4 wheel drive works, low range, high range. Could just be a good farm truck as is. Clear title. Will send more pictures if you like.”

“1951 Willys Overland Pickup. Complete rebuild. Harley- Davidson paint job new last Fall. This truck looks and runs great. I am the second owner and the truck has 53,000 original miles. New tires and wheels and much more. 226 Hurricane engine. 4 wheel drive with lock-out hubs

This is a project.
“This post is for a 1962 Willy’s Jeep Pickup partially restored – 80% and runs strong. It includes a replica bed, custom made ($3000). This truck just needs paint and light body work. The truck has original drivetrain, flat “Hurricane” flat head 6 cylinder engine and manual 3 speed transmission. The truck is complete and comes with the remaining parts not pictured.
The jeep is presently at a mechanic and is running. Mechanical work is being completed on it. The brakes are being replaced with new parts. A receipt of work will be provided with sale. It will includes, new / cleaned fuel tank, rebuilt carb, new fuel pump. New brakes – All components, master through to wheel cylinders and drums. Roughly – presently estimated at $3500 worth of work. This is just work done in the last 2 months.
