This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Painted for preservation…not show. It’s not perfect…but for a 1959 vehicle it’s in darn good condition…. Comes with spare 226 engine”

BF Goodrich Allertains with deep dish aluminum wheels. This is a turn key driver that drives very well, when driving down the road at 60MPH the engine is only turning at 1700RPM. Has new winch on the front. Paint and body work is driver quality it is not perfect by any means but it looks real good.”

(09/15/2013) Engine doesn’t run and has other updates.
“1958 willys panel jeep 4×4 project. Does not run. 350 chevy 700r4 auto and I think a 208 transfer case. Dana 44 axles front and rear out of a scout 2. Rancho lift kit. Tinted windows. I have the original bumpers. Has title.
The bad:
The engine has not run in 2 years. Starter died and has a fuel leak between carb and the mechanical fuel pump. It hasn’t been driven in 9 years due to the ring and pinion in the rear axle breaking
there’s no front drive line and the front and rear axle having mismatched gears and there is a leak in the brake system somewhere.”
