About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(03/25/2012) What happens when you put a wagon body on a 1/4 ton chassis? Well, this appears to be one example.
“I am not sure on exact year or if there is even an exact year. It is titled as a 2004 assembled and needs to be inspected before going on the road. This thing is a bit ugly. It is basiccilly a shortened Willys Wagon. The motor is a Chevy 6 cylinder so it should be an easy candidate for a SBC swap. Right now it does run and drive pretty good for the age but will need some brake work. It is not something that you are goinmg to buy and drive home from here. I bought it thinking I should have one more project jeep but there is no way that I am going to do anything with it. I did not build it so I do not know a whole lot about it. It does have the OEM Willys running gear. Tires hold air pretty good but they are rough. Buy it now and have a different ride for the holiday weekend at Silver Lake. The body work is rough and the side panles were welded on but never ground down or filled in so it definitely looks rough.”
“1955 Willys delivery panel, rebuilt chevy 3.8 V6 with turbo 350 trans, mustang 2 front suspension, ford 8 inch rear end, needs to be completed, clean body.”
“Up for sale is a 1951 Willy’s three door wagon, runs and drives excellent. The wagon has been re-powered with a 4.3L Chevy motor and transmission, known for their reliability. It is a two wheel drive. The body is in great shape and very little rust, with none in the floor. The wagon has a unique door knob style shifter for the automatic transmission. The interior is extremely well taken care of, the wood slats are in perfect shape and no tear or stains in the interior. Headliner is flawless. The odometer is currently at 96837 and still counting. The white wall tires are in great shape, practically new. Clean title.
Other features of the wagon include: push button door handles, spot light, air bags in the rear suspension to aid in stability and cornering, air conditioning, and heating spare tire with matching hubcap.”

“I have a 1947 willys unfinished project, runs and drives. I have a good title. It has CJ-5 running gear, 304 amc V-8. low range kit in the transfer case. 456 gears front and back. rear lock right, limited slip in front, t18 four speed, 33 in mud grappler tires, body is in good condition, interior work needs to be finished, front wench will not be sold with it. Its a project, its drivable but not complete. The reason im selling is because i have to many projects going on.”
