Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Willys Overland of Canada Limited placed this ad in the October 28, 1947, issue of the Montreal Gazette.
This ad was published January 12, 1949, in the Lewiston Daily Sun.

This tie tack pin just sold on eBay.
“I found this recently, and it’s in fantastic shape overall. I’m not 100% certain of its age, but found it as part of a lot in which I was able to date other pieces from the 60’s. A very detailed little pin; definitely original and promotional. It measures 1 1/8″ bumper to bumper.”
