I thought this was an interesting ad. The two ‘selling’ points in this 1948 ad for the Willys Trucks are that they save on gas and oil & that they have a tight turning radius.
This auction includes a set of 10 ads for the Brazilian Jeep Pickup. Looks like they have been ripped from a magazine.

This ad for a Mustang Trailer was originally published by a company out of Bangor, Maine. Though attached to a jeep in the ad, the ad notes you can attach it to a truck, too.

Paul forwarded this. I have a variety of brochures & Ads, but not this one. The slogan “JEEP” means WILLYS is an interesting intellectual property strategy. Just another way to intertwine the two meanings.
Here’s a CJ Dealer Promotion ashtray that Craig pointed out to me. However, it’s is located in Thailand.
“You are looking at a authentic old vintage used ashtray & jeep. 6 inch wide by 2 inch high for tray. Jeep itself is 2 1/2 inch long. Made of chromed metal. Extensive oxidation to chrome. Looks like it may not polish out. No tobbaco smell.”

Gerald forwarded pictures of this sign (thanks!). While the Willys Wagon is featured prominently on this sign, I couldn’t find any evidence of its existence elsewhere within the restaurant. Layton’s is located in Ocean City, Md, and is supposed to be pretty good according to Urbanspoon.
UPDATE II: See the latest — The Van is headed West.
From August, 2011: Glenn recognized the Willys Van for sale. Even more impressive, he found a brochure for one! Well done! He bought the Sales Folder off eBay about a year and a half ago. Mfg. by Plaza Motors, Inc. Englewood, NJ and was Willys-Overland Factory Approved.
Based on the emails between Colin and Glenn, there were at least three groups of Willys-Overland Delivery Trucks produced:
1) One group was produced during or just prior to WWII (as seen below)
Here is a 1942 Panel Delivery Truck:
2) One group was produced during post WWII and pre 1950, which appears to include the Willys Van owned by Mike. The brochure provided by Glenn also appears to be related to this second group.
3) One group was produced between 1951 and 1953, based on these serial numbers.
The numbers below are for post 1950 FJs. This one appears to be a pre-1950 FJ. We are still awaiting a serial number.
1951 FJ 451 GC1 10001— none
1953 FJ 452 GC2 10001—10065 65 built
1954 FJ454 GC2 10001—10012 12 built
I thought this was an odd photo due to the passenger seeming to pretend to be holding a steering wheel. This photo is being auctioned on eBay.

Only three of the four related to jeeps, but the frames and matting look pretty good.
