Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The cover on this mailer (of a pig behind a tiny tree) is unusual. I am guessing this strategy didn’t work as I haven’t ran into pigs in other willys/jeep brochures.

I did some searches for Einar Lodahl, but only found an arena in Gilette named for him.
“Up for bids a 1 1/2″x 4” empty front striker matchbook from a 1950s Era Texaco Gas service station in Gillette, Wyoming and Jeep-Willys car dealer that used Havoline Motor Oil too-The RWB matchbook reads: “Hi-Way Service Willys-Jeeps Einar Lodahl Gillette, Wyoming” on front and pictures a can of Havoline motor oil with slogan: “Best Motor Oil your money can buy! Havoline Motor Oil Wear-Proofs Engines for longer life” on back-Inside is blank-Striker intact-Nice vintage item with only light wear.”
This is an interesting ad that uses the jeep in co-promotion with W/O’s automobiles. The Jeep in the ad appears to be a Slat Grille. I wish the seller had mentioned the date of the newspaper, too.
