This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willys Jeep in very good condition. 4 cylinder engine. Non-military. Runs good. Body is in great shape. Hardly driven. Comes with 8000 Pound Warn winch. $5000 firm.”l

The front fenders are fiberglass, but looks solid.
“1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep
ORIGINAL tub, drivetrain, frame.
Has fiberglass front fenders, and has some bondo in tub, taillights and running lights are not correct. No Data Plates (frame or firewall).
This Willys has the optional Running Boards/Steps and the PTO with Rear bumper hitch platform.
Also comes with newer Besttop Top and Doors. New Battery and cables, New Oil lines to filter, Fresh Oil Change. Also comes with a bumper tow hitch for bringing along to parades or car shows (drawbar).
This is a rivet – bumper CJ, built 1947-50 following WW2. It is a pretty original survivor. Not a show truck, but it stops, runs & drives well and can easily be fully restored or just maintained as is for another 66 years! Currently registered and driven regularly. Inspection welcome from serious parties, but no tire kickers! Not giving it away, call for info.”

“1947 CJ2A frame with rear axle and suspension. 1947 body, fenders, tailgate, grille with 1952 (1-piece glass) windshield frame. Floor replaced by previous owner. Some body filler from previous repairs, some filler just added.
Good body/project for rat-rod, rock crawler or Jeep that is going to be used. If you’re looking for a pristine body, this ISN’T IT.

It’s funky, but appears in good shape.

This has a rear PTO.
“Bought this as a project but finances wont let me complete it. It has the flat head engine which i got running, but it smokes. Frame has been sandblasted and painted with POR15. Transmission has been rebuilt. No windshield. Body is typical for a 1947. This is a restoration and would have to be towed on a trailer. It has a rear PTO. Will not part out, wanting to sell to someone who loves these old jeeps and will finish it. I paid 1000 for it and have sunk some money into it to get it running. Asking 1300 or best offer.”

“Have 3 Willy’s Jeeps for sale plus a ton of spare parts, including 2 rear ends, 1 motor, 1 front end, 2 trannies, os radiator and many other parts too numerous to list. The Jeeps are a 1946, 1948, and a 1950 model. All 3 run and drive and have been driven in parades etc. The 46 needs a battery. The 48 and 50 are licensed. 9K takes them all. Do not want to sell individually because I need to make room for my next project.

“1948 Wills Jeep CJ-2A Commercial version. Sympathetic restoration, using as many original parts as possible, including both front fenders, hood, tailgate, chairs, instrumentation and wheels. Rust free floor. The good . . . great looking unit, painted in the factory original color of prairie green w/ powder coated 16″ yellow wheels mounted with Cooper military tires. Six volt electrical system retained. Rebuilt engine (300 miles). Rebuilt front axle. Fresh carb, water pump, generator, and starter. The bad . . . tranny makes noise. The Jeep is driveable, but this might be an area for the new owner to remember. The ugly . . . there is no ugly, it’s a Jeep! $5,500.00. Local delivery available.”
