This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 CJ2A Fire Jeep Up for auction is an unfinished restoration on a CJ2A Fire Jeep. See pictures at www (dot) s-scapes (dot) com/jeep.htm – the chassis has been sandblasted and painted – many new parts (wheel cylinders, knuckle seals, etc) – boxes & boxes of accumulated parts through the years from many other jeeps – has the ORIGINAL Champion Fire Pump *** EXTRA PARTS INCLUDED IN AUCTION – CLEANING OUT SHOP *** – extra axles (front & rear) – 5 transmissions – 6 transfer cases The body tub is in very rough shape. The engine has not been run in years.”

“1947 willys jeep $4000obo
The jeep is pretty much rust free it needs a couple spots and fixed but minor. The jeep has power steering and a GM tilt steering column. The motor has been replaced with a 225 ci v6 really small engine good on fuel. Upgraded to 12volt. The motor is from a 60’s jeep. With a brand new fuel pump. Stock 3 speed tranny and stock transfer case. It has a new fuel tank. Newer military tires. All lights work. Also 2 new windshield motors and a brand new tow bar in front. The jeep also has a heater that works really well. And I also have two spare axles from a 1994 jeep wrangler that has upgraded 4:11 gears and a lock rite locker in the rear. I also have a box of receipts from the past owner. Also have title in hand and is currently registered. Please only serious buyers.”

(09/06/2012) Well, it isn’t ‘all original’. It appears solid.
“all original 46 willys jeep. in really good shape for the age. I drive it everyday. everything works except fuel gauge. the only real issue is the windshield is cracked, its the original glass in it and its flat so isn’t costly to replace I just haven’t gotten it done yet. I have a brand new solex carb to go with it, spare tire carrier, extra set of wheels, and soft top. the soft top isn’t in great condition but it will keep you dry. I would be interested in trades for a 450 four stroke dirt bike or? text me art fourzero64five04four8five”

“THIS IS A RUNNING 1948 CJ2A WILLYS JEEP WHICH I USED ON MY RANCH IN THE FOOTHILLS UNTIL I MOVED.. IT WAS ABLE TO GO OVER HILL AND DALE ON SOME PRETTY ROUGH ACREAGE. WE ARE LOCATED NEAR GEORGE SMITH AND BUTTERCUP LANE IN SQUAW VALLEY` ONLY A COUPLE OF MILES FROM HWY 180. PLEASE CALL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OR TO GET MORE INFORMATION. WE DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS.”
