Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “THIS IS FOR A 1948 CJ2A RANCH JEEP. HAS BEEN USED ON THE RANCH FOR 40 YEARS. A NEW CRATED F – HEAD ENGINE WAS PUT IN THE JEEP YEARS AGO. EXTRA PARTS ARE 2 TOW BARS, GEAR BOXES, 4 USED TIRES ON RIMS, AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS PARTS.”

This has no title. It runs.
“This 1947 Jeep Willys was purchased in 1986 and has no title. it does however have a colorado VIN inspection and was cleared. it can be titled in any state … just needs some paperwork done. the VIN inspection and a bill of sale which i will provide. it was used very little for hunting on private roads so it wasnt titled in colorado. it was a project my grandfather wanted to do 25 years ago. it runs great has a Buick V6 231. it has chevrolet steering. the brakes work … just need to be bled as it has been sitting in a shed for some years now but i have been running it and with some TLC it will be a very nice vehicle again. we have a spare tire for it but it was flat so it is at the repair shop now being fixed.”

“1947 Willy’s CJ2A “flat fender” Jeep. 4 cylinder with 3 speed transmission and Dana 18 – 2 stick hi/low transfer case. Lock out hubs, almost new NDT tires, new gas tank, recently replaced the differential third member, 12-volt system with alternator, tow bar and extra rear seat. Very little rust, very restorable or run as is. $4,000 OBO.”

“1956 Willy’s Jeep. Has all the parts on it, except the steering wheel. Would be a great project, motor needs to be gone through. Bought it for $3,000 for my son, he went with a truck instead now I need it gone. Willing to take a lose on it, $2,000 is a great deal.”

“I have two 1946 willys jeeps i would like to sell. One jeep runs the other doesn’t my original plans were to restore the one that runs with parts from the other. They are both 1946 cj2a willys jeeps one runs and has a bad body and the other one does not run and has a decent body. i want $1800 im not dead firm on my price but i do know what their worth”
