About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This doesn’t run, but might be worth a look. The underside looks good.

(04/26/2012) “Would you b interested in trading for a 1947 ww2 era willys jeep? Its all original except for wheels, seats and gas tank. Runs great, I drive to work often. 4×4 is fully functional. Its a lot of fun. Motor and trans was rebuilt last year, new starter and alternator put on last week. The body is all original with no patchwork. Im looking for a nicce ski boat, pontoon, bass tracker type or a NICE crown vic police interceptor.”
“1948 WILLYS CJ2A/FORD GPW SCRIPT JEEP, it has a 1948 Willys CJ2A title, serial number JC2A 179377, CJ3A hood and CJ3A windshield and CJ3A grill, A 1942 FORD SCRIPT TUB and FRAME NUMBER IS GPW 13101 and a 283 Chevy V8 with a four barrel carb, motor start easy and runs good.
My mechanic drove it and gave me this report, the V8 makes it really squirrelly, way to much power, it jumped out of second gear once. I do have another T90 with long input shaft if the buyer wants it. It has power brakes, after market steering, 30 X 9.5 X 15 inch tires, after market racing seats, the Ford Script tub has rust in front floor area, rear floor and tool boxes do not have any rust, it has original “F” foot rest, “F” door strap eye bolts, steel gas tank in place of rear seat, (good thing as no hole cut in side for a CJ2A gas tank neck) 12 volt battery and alternator, the front fenders appear to be MB as they have the headlight arm hold screws still on them.
I can get a correct title with the GPW 13101 frame number if someone wanted it for $250 extra, (not included in this auction) it takes about 30 days to get one.
I do have a WWII windshield, hood and grill that I will make available to the buyer for extra money, if they want them, but they are not included in this auction.
Certified funds must be paid within 7 days of auction end. Payment must clear my bank before jeep can be picked up or delivered.”
(03/17/2012) This is a nice looking CJ-2A, though not 100% accurate.

“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. This vehicle has been used in numerous car and Jeep shows. It is drivable and is in excellent running condition. This Jeep has a front tow bar, so it can be flat towed. It is 90% original, other than some added on diamond plating and a half top roof. This vehicle is one of the Jeeps that is in the Guiness Book of World Records for being part of the World’s largest Jeep only parade in Butler, PA 2011 (Certificate of authinticity is available).”
