This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This appears solid, though the paint job is unusual.
“Im selling my 1948 Flat Fender Willy’s Jeep. It has a Buick 231 V6. the transmission was recently rebuilt. Its a strong runner and was a daily driver. It has 33″ swampers. Im askin 5000obo. I hate to have to sell it but my bills are stackin up, and I’m in need of the money,”
It looks like there is some patching along the sides.

The year is supposed to be a ’44, but looks like a CJ-2A.

“Willy’s Jeep in need of a good home! I bought this 1948 Willy’s CJ2A jeep about six years ago with the plan to turn it into an ultimate hunting rig. Needless to say I never had the time or money to do what I wanted to do to it. It is not even close to original it has mud tires on it and a different engine (I’m not sure of the exact engine but I’m pretty sure it came from a ford car of some sort) it does have the warn overdrive in it which makes it a fun drive. It does not run right now due to sitting for a year or so, but it won’t take much to get it going. The tags are not up to date on it but that is nothing major. I am asking $2200.00 obo for it but I am willing to listen to reasonable offers.”
