Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (12/03/2011) The grille and the data plates suggest this is a 1946.
“This is a 1948 Willys Jeep flat head 4-cyld. 3-spd.lockout hubs;it has a good serial # and plate,but it does not have a tittle.The Jeep runs and drives very well but smokes some,starts right up,the brakes are up on it,drive train is in good working order,the body is a little rough and the pictures attached will show the condition.It is converted to 12-volt system. “Way too much to list but here is a few things that are of importance, It has a small block 350, t400 auto transmission, power steering, tilt wheel, lifted with almost new 35” tires, full top with doors and Bimini top.
