Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Well, that’s the second old jeep stolen in Washington State in the last two weeks (this GPW was stolen last week).

(04/24/2011) This has some interesting mods, including the unusual approach to mounting the gauges. I wonder if those are custom headers. They appear to have an unusual slope (compared to the ones I’ve seen).

(09/13/2011) This appears to have three data plates, so I’m wondering if this is a ’46 titled or sold as a ’47.

Glenn spotted this one. The flattie was being parted out, but only the frame and a few other parts are left. The body parts have been sold. I thought it was unusual enough that i would post it anyway. It appears to be part DJ and part CJ.

All three have complete drive trains including motors, starters, generators, carbs, front and rear axles, along with transfer units. Should be able to make two running units with parts left over. I probably have $3000 into all of these but will take best offer for all three.”
